I must thank Marie Claude for staying through all the hardships surrounding the clones; she worked so hard for them. I admired her drive and after all these years, she is caring for me and I have watched her grow. She learned to hide her disgust; she did not negatively react to Kathy and Tommys visit. We have come a long way since Hailsham and the only direction to go from here is forward. It is obvious that lying is a negative thing, but under the circumstances when one is faced by the need to protect another, it could be justified. The harm of the lie is lesser than the harm that would be done by telling the truth could be justified according to the ethics of the link above. We purposely hid the truth from the students with the best intent for them in mind, whether or not that is justified could go either way. Before we were approached by Kathy and Tommy again, we would have thought that we were right. We witnessed the harm that we have caused through our deception but I`m not sure that I would change my mind if I could go back. Marie Claude and I held another gallery exhibition today in hopes to receive more sponsors and raise awareness against inhumane treatment of the clones. The amount of supporters has already been gradually decreasing, but today, almost all of them disappeared.

The international organisation associated with the Yoshinkan style of aikido is known as the Yoshinkai, and has active branches in many parts of the world. This form was developed by Minoru Mochizuki, who was an early student of O Sensei and also of Jigoro Kano at the Kodokan. This style includes elements of aiki budo together with aspects of karate, judo and other arts. It is now carried on by his son, Hiroo Mochizuki, the creator of Yoseikan Budo. Often called Tomiki aikido, after its founder, this style use sparring and rule based competition in training as opposed to most others. People tend to compete to train rather than to train to compete. Kenji Tomiki, an early student of O Sensei and also of Judos Jigoro Kano, believed that introducing an element of competition would serve to sharpen and focus the practice since it was no longer tested in real combat. This latter view was the cause of a split with O Senseis family who firmly believed that there was no place for competition in aikido training. Tomiki said that at no point did O Sensei actually cast him out. The Ki Society, founded by former head instructor of the Hombu dojo 10th dan Koichi Tohei, emphasises very soft flowing techniques and has a special program for the development of ki. It also has a special system of ki ranks alongside the traditional kyu and dan system.

Chess clock is a device used to measure time remaining for each player to complete his or her moves. Although originally created for chess, such a clock can be used in every two player turn based game. The premise is simple: after a player makes a move, he presses the button located on his side of the clock. Pressing this button stops his clock and starts the clock of his opponent. Then the opponent makes his move and presses his button, which stops his clock and starts the first players clock again. The process is repeated until the game is finished or one of the players runs out of time.
